To complete your fingerprinting appointment, you must present a valid, unexpired
government-issued photo ID. The name on your identification should match the name listed
on your fingerprinting application, employer paperwork, or licensing documents.
Acceptable Primary Identification
You may use one of the following forms of identification:
● State-issued Driver's License
● State Identification Card
● U.S. Passport or Passport Card
● Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
● Employment Authorization Card (EAD)
● U.S. Military Identification Card
● Foreign Passport with Valid Immigration Documentation
Some agencies or fingerprinting services may require a second form of identification.
Acceptable secondary identification may include a Social Security card, birth certificate, voter
registration card, employee identification card, school identification card, utility bill, or another
document displaying your name.
Expired identification, photocopies, screenshots, and photographs of identification documents
are generally not accepted. Please bring the original physical identification document to your
appointment.
Identification requirements may vary depending on the requesting agency, licensing board,
employer, or background screening program. Clients should review their agency's instructions
before arriving. If you have any questions about the required identification, please contact Rapid
Fingerprint before your appointment.
